Sonia was born in El Salvador to Salvador Marroquin and Tereza Peña. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, always ready to help everyone around her. She had a passion for travel and cherished exploring new places and cultures.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Kevin Knutsen; her children Brian, Christian,Chrissy, Karen, Carole, Lupe, and Josue; and her cherished grandchildren. Sonia will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
A visitation to honor Sonia’s memory will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Prayer Service at 5:00 PM. The service will take place at Funeraria Del Angel Anaheim, located at 2425 West Lincoln Ave, Anaheim, CA 92801.
