Terence J. Allen

Terence J. Allen, known lovingly by many as "Tre," "Sir Wave," and "OG Poppin Terry," passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 59, in Fullerton, California, after a courageous battle with stage 4 cancer. Born on January 27, 1967, in Vallejo, California, Terence lived a life defined by boundless generosity, unwavering devotion to family, and a spirit that lifted everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Terence discovered his passion for dance at a young age, beginning his journey as a pop locker in middle school in Santa Ana and earning legendary status in the community as a triple OG. His artistry and dedication to the craft remained central to his identity throughout his life, and he was a beloved presence at pop locking events, including Poppers Picnic and Homeland gatherings. Beyond the dance floor, Terence built a life of purpose and service. He worked as a dialysis technician at DaVita and as a property manager for CMC and Arnel Management. He also co-owned Allcast Janitorial and Allcast Homecare Services. He also volunteered at homeless shelters, feeding those in need, and helped his wife care for her caregiving patients.

Terence possessed an extremely big heart and a larger-than-life sense of humor. He was extraordinarily welcoming, serving as a father figure to many, and he always went out of his way to care for others. Straightforward yet deeply respectful, he protected his loved ones at any cost and placed family above all else. He was a devoted husband to Maribel for 28 years, a loving father, and a proud grandfather to three beautiful grandchildren. He adored cooking and barbecuing, loved his hot sauces, cheered passionately for his San Francisco 49ers, wrote music and sang, and cherished traveling back home to the Philippines.

Terence is survived by his wife, Maribel Castor-Allen; his daughters, Kyla Mae Allen and Keyandra Mccue Gonzales; his son, Psalm Arbhye Castor; his grandchildren, Kehlani Reign Hill, Hayden Mccue, and Harrison Gonzales; his mother, Cherry Goode; his brothers, Rajine Goode, Calvin Goode, and Robert Allen; his sisters, Angelina Allen, Melissa Lipscomb, and Christal Castellanos; and a host of extended family and friends who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Armando Garcia Allen, and his brother, JJ Goode.

Terence always encouraged those around him to let go of the negatives, to take life day by day, and to carry positive energy in their hearts. He believed in peace and genuine love, and he brought happiness everywhere he went. He will always be remembered as a healer and a guide toward the light, away from the darkness. In the words of Scripture, "The Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God. I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father" (John 16:27-28). May Terence now rest peacefully in the arms of his Heavenly Father.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Anaheim, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a Service at 3:00 pm, 2425 West Lincoln Ave, Anaheim, CA 92801, on August 14, 2026
