Amy Marie Strable

A visitation for will be held on June 6, 2026, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Ankeny Funeral Home and Crematory. The memorial service for Amy will follow at 1:00pm. After the service, a celebration of life and light reception will take place from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

Amy was born on September 5, 1975, in Boone, Iowa, to Ronald LeRoy Schwarz and Karen Marie Schwarz (Olesen). She graduated from Boone High School in 1994 before earning her Associate Degree from Des Moines Area Community College in 1996. Amy later graduated from Iowa State University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management Information Systems.

During college, Amy completed an internship with CDS Global, where she began her professional career after graduation. In 2016, she joined StoneX and advanced through the company to become a Senior Manager, a role that reflected her dedication, intelligence, and strong work ethic.

On August 4, 2001, Amy married the love of her life, Brian Justin Strable. Together they built a life centered around love, family, and support for one another. On February 13, 2006, they welcomed their daughter, Jenna Marie Strable, who became the center of Amy’s world.

Amy found joy in making jewelry, traveling with her husband and daughter, and cheering Jenna on in all her pursuits, especially dance competitions. She was deeply devoted to her family and treasured every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her loving husband, Brian Strable; her daughter, Jenna Strable; and her brother, Tony Schwarz (Mila). She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Karen Schwarz, and by Gordon Kanke, her mother’s partner.

To all who knew her, Amy will be remembered as a fiercely loving and strong-willed person whose compassion for others never wavered. She consistently put the needs of those she loved before her own and was an incredibly devoted wife and mother. Her kindness, strength, and love will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
