Angela "Angie" Dawn Blackwood

Angie was born on November 22, 1976 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Edward L. and Barbara Jean Dickerson.

Angie lived a lot of life within her 49 years. Through each event in her life, she always radiated grace, she always had a positive attitude, and the ability to make people laugh. Through her hardships, she became very wise and very strong. One of the strongest women we will ever know. She was a total dork and had such weird hobbies; she owned it though and never walked ashamed of who she was. She worked many jobs and never stayed put in one place. She loved her children. She loved her friends. She had the biggest heart and would never leave someone else in need. She was adventurous and always wanted to travel the world. Before she died, she found the way to do that. She saw so many beautiful things towards the end of her life. We know she was living the life she always wanted. Hanging out with her children, seeing the beautiful world. Now she gets to do just that but through a different light. There’s never going to be a day we won’t miss her and wish there was another conversation and memory to be made. Through this, we have to say goodbye to a beautiful woman and a beautiful soul, but we get to know how lucky we were to know her and love her. She might be gone, but she will never be forgotten. We will spend more time grieving her than we got to have her. Rest in peace, Mommy.
