Annette Mae Hildreth

Annette Fastje Hildreth, 95, of Ankeny, Iowa, passed away on December 13, 2025. Annette was born on November 11, 1930, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Robert and Hermia Fastje. She lived most of er adult life in Ankeny and worked for over 40 years as an obstetrics nurse at Iowa Methodist Hospital.

A private family graveside service was held at Crawford Memorial Gardens in Denison, Iowa, where she was laid to rest beside her parents.

Annette is survived by her son, Dr. Craig Hildreth (Lissa), and her daughters, Christine Marti (Michael) and Cathleen Hartman (Scott); her grandchildren: John Hildreth (Carly), James Hildreth, and Grace Hildreth; Hannah Marti (Eric Schulenburg), Jacob Marti (Karly Hermanson), and Ethan Marti (Megan); Alex Hartman (Petrice) and Dr. Emily Hartman Guthrie (Ben); and fifteen great-grandchildren: Olive, Lincoln, and Archie Hildreth; Alice and Nora Schulenburg; Ezra and Jonah Marti; Mia, Easton, and Ella Marti; Isabelle, Elizabeth, and Alexander Scott Hartman, Jr.; Skyler and Samantha

Guthrie.

Annette was a dedicated nurse who spent many years helping others. She was a caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose family was an important part of her life.
