

Beverly graduated from Eagle Grove High School in 1949. On July 12, 1952, she married Harold Kelling in Thor, Iowa. Together, they built a life filled with family, friendship, and many cherished memories. Beverly dedicated most of her working life to R.A. Rockhill, where she worked as a legal secretary and later as an office manager. She was respected for her dedication, dependability, and commitment to her work.
In her free time, Beverly found great joy in her many creative and quiet pursuits. She loved quilting, reading, cross-stitching, and oil painting. Her creativity and love of making things brought beauty and warmth to the lives of those around her. She was also an active member of the Quilt Guild, the Marshall County Legal Secretaries Association, and DWF of Central Christian Church.
Beverly will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, dedication, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Her life touched many people, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, treasured memories, and a lifetime of contributions to her family, friends, church, and community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Nelson and Irene Nelson (Hagenson); her sisters, Ardis Anthony and Mary Ann Heiken; and her brother, Cecil Nelson.
She is survived by, her sisters, Carol Hurst and Gladys (Maurice) Riley; her brothers Robert (Laurie) Nelson and David (Lynn) Nelson; her sister-in-law Donna Kelling; and numerous nieces and nephews.
