Charles was born on June 20, 1932 to Charles Green Sr. and Mary (Young) Green, and grew up in Mansfield, Ohio.
Charles is survived by his wife, Charlotte Green; children, David (Judi) Green, Daniel (Marcia) Green and Beth (Jon) Almquist; stepchild, Marcia (George Rieck) Guffey; 7 grandchildren, Natalee, Rachel, Ian, Jessica, Caroline, Alyssa and Alec; 1 step-grandchild, Angie, and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service in Oskaloosa, Iowa in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude Hospice (Urbandale, Iowa) in appreciation of their wonderful care of Charles.
