Dave Palmitier, 68, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012. He will be cremated and a visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Friday, June 29, 2012 at Ankeny Funeral Home. Masonic services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Ankeny Christian Life Center (710 NE 36th St, Ankeny, IA 50021).
Survivors include his wife Marcia Palmitier of Ankeny, IA; son, Lance (Sunnie) Palmitier of Ankeny, IA; and their children; Logan, Garet, and Kenadee, son, Alec (Jeana) Palmitier of Madrid, IA; and their children; Sadie, Harlee, Dawson, and Matthew, mother, Betty Palmitier of Creston, IA; sister, Cheri (Dan) May of Adams, MN; brothers, Steve (Teresa) Palmitier of Chicago, IL; Jack (Joy) Palmitier of Creston, IA; brother-in-law, Stanley (Sophia) Bell of Lacrosse, WI; sister-in-law, Dixie Hennig of Fayette, IA; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Palmitier, brothers-in-law, Edgar Traeger Jr., and Thomas Hennig.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Za Ga Zig Shrine or the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
