So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. My heartfelt sympathy to Shirley and the family. I worked for Dave at the phone company for over 17 years. His family was very important and I enjoyed watching the boys grow up thru their annual baseball pictures proudly on display in his office.

I worked for Dave in the late 1970's and early 1980's in the old Dial Assignment department. I truly enjoyed working for him. I cross stitched a cartoon guy "Gone Fishing" and he always put it out when he went on vacation. I often addressed him as Mr. Pair and he always informed me that Mr. Pair lived in Odeboldt.

He was kind, considerate and always always patient.

We are so very sorry for your loss. Dave was a very kind and funny man. He had the sweetest smile. I was so honored when he said yes to videotaping my wedding in 2000. I still watch it and am so glad to have known him for the past 20 years. Kerry, I and our kids send you our condolences and prayers during this difficult time.

Shirley, Steve, JD, Darin so sorry for your loss. So many memories of the good times we had on 6th Street growing up. Dave would always tease me but he would always bring a smile to your face. Your family is in my prayers.

I am so sorry. So many memories starting so many years ago mostly on or around a baseball field. I smiled at the picture of Dave showing a little one how to hold a bat. "Keep that elbow up" .
