Diana Lynn Blair

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Ankeny Funeral Home, 1510 West 1st Street, Ankeny, Iowa 50023. There will be a one-hour Visitation before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be immediately following the service at Brethern Cemetery in Elkhart, Iowa. Following the burial, there will be a time of food and fellowship at the funeral home.

Diana Lynn Blair was born on April 25, 1952, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa to Thelma Marie (Good) and Virgil Lee Strong. She graduated from Saydel High School in 1971. During high school, she met Michael Curtis Blair, and they were united in marriage on June 13, 1975, in Des Moines, Iowa. There were two children to this union, Matthew and Ronald.

Diana worked as a housekeeper for Mill Pond in Ankeny and various hotels in the Ankeny area. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, knitting, and watching old tv shows. Most of all, she dearly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving and caring mother to her boys and a devoted wife to her husband.

Diana is preceded in death by husband, Michael; her parents, Thelma and Virgil, and her brother, Richard Strong. She is survived by her two children, Matthew (Angela) Blair and Ronald (Amanda) Blair; five grandchildren; one great grandchild, and two sisters, Linda Strong and Carol (Chris) Cannon.
