Born March 25, 1945 in Ankeny, Iowa, Dianne Marilouse Romick was the daughter of Raymond and Betty (Reynolds) Romick. Dianne grew up and received her education in Ankeny, and graduated from North Polk High School in Alleman.
On August 1, 1965 in Des Moines, Iowa, Dianne was united in marriage to Martin Aust. The couple made their home in Huxley and Kelley area, and were blessed with three children, Craig, Brian, and Tanya.
Dianne traveled extensively with Martin to numerous locations all over the United States. She also treasured spending time with her family and most of all baking cookies with her grandchildren. She had many passions in life, among those were spending time and shopping with friends, collecting Longaberger baskets and being a faithful member of Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cambridge.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Martin Aust; sons, Craig (Laura) Aust and Brian (Roni Sue) Aust; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; parents, Raymond and Betty Romick; brother, Steven (Joyce) Romick; and sister, Linda (Norman) Moorhead. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tanya.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cambridge with burial to follow at Brethren Cemetery in Elkhart. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday at Ankeny Funeral Home.
