Evelyn Ardyce Gross, 80, passed away on March 10, 2021, at Sunnyview Care Center in Ankeny, IA. A celebration of life will be held at Fontanelle Community Center on Saturday, April 24 from 12-2 pm. Lunch will be served.

Evelyn was born to Arthur and Elva (Kembery) Gross on November 2, 1940, in Fontanelle, Iowa. She grew up on the farm and loved riding horses. As an adult, she enjoyed playing her fiddle in a local country band.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Annette (Dirk) Nord of Ankeny, David (Kathy) Dickey of Dubuque, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and her brother Larry (Kathy) Gross of Fontanelle.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Richard Gross.
