Hoyt was born to heaven on July 31, 2023 in Des Moines, Iowa to Zachary Matthew and Krystin Nichol (Smith) Thein.

Hoyt is survived by his parents; paternal grandparents, Mike and Peggy Thein of Dyersville, Iowa; maternal grandparents, Kevin and Hasi Smith of Batavia, Illinois; paternal great grandparents, Joan and Jim Walters of Guttenberg, Iowa; maternal great grandparents, Larry and Geri Smith of Batavia, Illinois; three uncles, Jordan (Carly) Thein of Dyersville, Iowa, Jake (Laura) Thein of Ankeny, and Jordan (Anastasia) Smith of Chicago, Illinois and cousins, Sawyer, Molly, Hadley, Luke and Bryson. He is preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, Lorraine and Virginia Thein and maternal great grandparents, Gani and Chrysanthi Sakolari.
