Linda Lee (Harn) Naeve was born on February 4, 1952, in Spirit Lake, Iowa to James Harn and Phyllis (Anders) Ward. She graduated from Spencer High School in 1970. She was united in marriage to Ronald “Ron” Sterling Naeve on June 12, 1971, in Urbandale, Iowa. After high school, she worked as a bank teller and then she had a stay-at-home daycare. Later, she began working for Travelers Insurance as an investigator until her retirement. She then worked for LifeServe Blood Center in Des Moines until 2018.
Linda was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed collecting hallmark ornaments, watching TV shows on Lifetime, and taking care of the flowers in her flower beds. Most of all, she dearly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Linda is preceded in death by her father, James Harn, mother and stepfather, Phyllis and Jasper “Jap” Ward. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Naeve; three children, Michael (Sarah) Naeve of Winside, Nebraska and Kimberly Naeve of Altoona, Iowa, and Dalton (Katie) Geneser of Urbandale, Iowa; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, and three siblings.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be directed to family in loving memory of Linda.
