A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, April 24, 2010, at New Hope United Methodist Church (4525 Beaver Ave., Des Moines, IA 50310). Becky will be cremated following the visitation and a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday at New Hope United Methodist Church.
Becky was born on November 11, 1960, in Des Moines, IA, to George and Beverly (Nissly) Alleman. She grew up near Alleman, IA and lived in MO for a few years, before returning to IA.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Paul Herring; son Adam and daughter Amanda; sister, Nancy Alleman (Craig Miller) of PA; brothers, David (Preetha) Alleman of TX; and John (Janice) Alleman of PA; niece, Rebekah; nephews, Isaac, Finnegan, Jamison, Mark, Brett, Nathan, and Brandon; father and mother- in-law, Vernon and Rose Herring of IA; sister in law, Kathy (Russ) Stiner of IA; brothers in law, Steven (Kelly) Herring of FL , and Michael (Deb) Herring of IA; and many other people who she touched in her life.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church.
