I first knew Dick when consulting for Triple F along with Drs. Risius,  Rafoth & Kirkegaard.  We had a ball at AASV, IPC znd other professional events.   I never met other family members, but feel privileged to have known Dick as a colleague and friend.  My sympathies for his loss to all who knew and loved him.

I have never met you, but have been a colleague of Richards for 30-40 years, way back into the Triple F Feed days.  I feel your loss and you have my deepest sympathy.   I would call Richard every once in a while to talk about technical veterinary things or just when some political situation was bugging me.  He usually would agree with me and we both felt better.  He will be greatly missed on my part, as well I'm sure, on yours as well.  I am unable to attend because of a previous commitment, but wanted to express my sympathy to you and your family.  He will be greatly missed.

Our sincerest sympathies to Beth and family.  Dick and I were classmates in vet school at Iowa State.  Dick always seemed to have a positive outlook and left us with many good memories as a classmate and colleague.  Later we worked together when he was with Triple F.  May God bless you at this time.

Two veterinarians of Danish heritage with many common experiences. We shared  rooms at numerous American Pork Congress’s and American Association of Swine Veterinarians annual meetings. Coworker, colleague and friend. He left us with many fond memories to  hold in our hearts with his passing.

Dear Betty, my thoughts & prayers for you & your family. I was so blessed to meet you both first at a prayer meeting in 2015 at Gortz Haus for Senator Cruz & then to see your hearts for the Lord during those days of volunteering. I also was blessed to hold my daughters wedding shower there in 2016 & see what love you had for your passion to bring joy to others. Your unwavering faith& perseverance was always evident to me. May you find peace from our Lord, that comforts you & holds you. My deepest sympathies.

Betty, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  His life has touched Brian, Kathryn and their kids. And our association with you and Dick  through Gortz Haus is a good memory. Tom still talks about helping  Dick and Brian bring that heavy cooler display case over to showcase  Stam’s Chocolates. 
May you find peace in the strength of your faith and the love of your family and friends.
