Sorry to read the passing of Roma. It's been many years since I have seen Roma. My mother Lois Lavia was friends with her for many years. I lost my mom 2 years ago at the age of 90 also. Thoughts and prayers to all the family.

I stayed at the Agans a bunch of times. I remember Aunt Deedee( not sure why we called Roma Deedee)and Uncle Chuck watching Johnny Carson at night while we played games. Their home was always full of love and comfort. To this day, the best mac and cheese I have ever had was hers. I will always remember looking out the window, over the pond and the cow pasture, and seeing the Ankeny city lights off in the distance and feeling this wonderful solice in Aunt Deedee and Uncle Chucks house.

We were very sorry to read of Roma's passing. She was a good mentor to me and a good friend as well as cousin. She helped introduce me to the Antique business and was always there to answer questions and be of such help was so special. It was so much fun to have them so close as neighbors in Saylorville.
Please know we will remember all the fun times. She was a special person to us.

Dear Charlie and family,
I have such good memories of traveling to Quester Conventions with Roma. We had such fun learning from her. "What is a "leaverrite", leave it right there." Roma was an asset to our chapter. We had great times with lessons on jewelry at your house, bringing sack lunches and staying all day. And if course seeing you both at all the antique shows. My prayers are with you. Vicki Baker

To the entire Agan family:
What wonderful memories came flooding back when I saw Romas picture. I've thought of the family numerous times throughout the
years as I spent 18 years living across the street from such a warm and generous lady. As busy as she was, she always had time for others
and always with that beautiful smile. She taught me many things about life and how to enjoy it. Robin and Michelle babysat for Jeff
numerous times as he was growing up, In fact one Christmas when we were picking out our Christmas tree Jeff didn't think it was a big
enough tree and stated quite matter of factly, well I'll just spend Christmas with the Agans. There are many more cherished memories
from those days shared so freely by such a loving and kind family.
My condolences to all. May you find peace and comfort in the wonderful memories you have in your hearts.
Sending my love and prayers to each of you.
