Ronald Waller, age 69, of Ankeny, Iowa passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 13 at 10 AM at Eternity Church in Clive, Iowa followed by placement at Resthaven Cemetery-Cremation Garden in West Des Moines.
Ron was born on May 24, 1953, in DeKalb, Illinois to Glenn and Mae Waller. He graduated from DeKalb high school in 1971. He met the love of his life Nora in 1978 and were united in marriage in 1983. Together they raised two beautiful children, Ryan and Michelle.
Ron loved to travel and as a family, they visited many places but then decided to settle in Iowa in 2004. Ron loved to read, especially Science Fiction, and watch western movies; he had a special place in his heart for his beloved cats and dogs. He was an active member of the Eternity Church, where he also volunteered.
He is survived by his wife, Nora, and his two children, Ryan and Michelle. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Carol.
