My thoughts and prayers are with Ruth's family during this difficult time. Ruth and Richard were my friends and neighbors for many years on Cherry street in Ankeny. So many wonderful memories through the years. I feel privilidged to have known such gentle souls.

Please accept my sympathy for the loss of your Mother. Richard had gone on before and Ruth remained behind for a time, but I have no doubt Richard was there to greet her on the far banks of Jordan. I am an old farm boy neighbor of the Jones family and Richard was an early friend as well as a mentor. Richard's Mother was my first Sunday School teacher and pianist at the Salem Community Church.
