Shelli Dawn Ellis was born on January 20, 1990, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Tony and Laurie (Hildreth) Ellis. She graduated from Ankeny High School in 2008. After high school, she moved to Osceola and spent valuable time with her loving B-ma and worked for Trolli Candy Factory. She was united in marriage to Andrew Moffitt in September of 2014, in Osceola. The couple later divorced, and she returned to Ankeny, and worked at Power Distributers and Tender Years Daycare. Shelli spent the last two years at Hope Ministries where she became a Christian and found her savior.
Shelli enjoyed Christian and country music concerts, rooting for the Green Bay Packers, and fishing with her father and sister. Most of all, she dearly loved spending time and making memories with her children and family. Shelli was a member of the Lutheran Church of Hope+Elim in Des Moines.
