I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I heard the sad news last night. Skip was a year or two ahead of me at CFHS, so I have known him and seen his smile for a long time. When I heard that he was going to be the principal at Bondurant HS while our daughter Brandy went there I was thrilled. The world was a better place because of Skip. May the prayers of friends give you comfort and the love of God give you peace.

Carrie and family, my heart goes out to you all during this time. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Mr. A was the best at Bondurant-Farrrar Schools. I'm sure you could ask any student and they would say he was the best principal too. He set the bar very high. God bless you & keep you! Here's a verse I keep close to my heart when I go through tough times. "I can do ALL things through Christ that gives me strength." Philippians 4:13

Dear Carrie

Please accept my condolences for your loss. My Father Harry Anderson was Skip HS coach and I know he thought the world of him and was so proud of the man he became. He would always keep me up to date with Skip's life whenever I visited him. I hope that they are playing a good game of "horse" in heaven.

In 1972 at Cedar Falls High School Skip Anderson coached both sophomore football and basketball. His football team was undefeated, his basketball team lost one game all season. Skip was a winner. Skip was our coach, more importantly Skip was our mentor, for that we are eternally grateful. "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name." Psalm 100-4

Carrie and family,

Sending my thoughts and prayers to all of you. I know this is a difficult time for the whole family. Just know that Skip was loved by so many people, he touched a lot of lives. When Skip got the coaching job at Harris- Lake Park I was a senior, oh man how I wished he would have been there though out my career. I loved playing b-ball for him as did all of my teammates. He wasn't just a great coach he was a great man. After I graduated from HS we became neighbors in Lake Park, oh the backyard parties.....fond memories I'll never forget. The only thing I regret is not keeping in touch with the Anderson, it's only been a couple of months since I became friends with Carrie on face book and found out he was sick. Coach you will never be forgotten..............
