Betty: You will be missed. I remember you as a young mother and Larry and I grew up together. You took good care of us as we grew. I remember the flowers you had in the yard and how you kept the yard real nice. You will be missed.

Sorry to hear about Betty! We had great memories from Stone School and Kensington Dr. I last saw Betty about a decade ago at the Pittsfield Historical meeting. She was such a warm and vibrant person. She will be missed! Jim Bird

Margaret:  You and Betty were among my Mom, Barbara's, best friends.  I will never forget all the fun we had out at Portage Lake as kids.  I can remember the pontoon boat rides with Grandpa Hurley and the "Band" circling the lake on the 4th of July playing "When the Saints Go Marching In". She had very warm and caring manner and was liked by all who had contact with her. May the memories of her outstanding life help to ease the pain of your loss.

Margaret, I liked Betty so much. She was so nice and welcoming when I joined Pittsfield Seniors. I missed her so much, I left Ann Arbor to be by my kids and care for my grandchildren. I loved how you called each other "sister".

Betty was my grandmother and I will miss her dearly.  I always admired her joy for life and her ability to find excitement in the smallest of accomplishments.  She would hop out of her chair and celebrate when I solved a puzzle on Wheel of Fortune, just the same as she did when I announced I was having my first child!  I adore her for that.  She always made me smile and I'm so thankful for all the wonderful memories we shared.  Those memories will continue to make me smile for the rest of my life.  I love you, Gram!
