Dorothy Theresa Winekoff

Dorothy Theresa (Janice) Winekoff, aged 61, passed away on January 24, 2024, following a valiant battle with cancer. She remained steadfast in her faith, and surrounded by the love of her family, found peace in her final days at home with her children at her side.

Born on February 6, 1962, to Sandra and Kenneth Janice, Dorothy was raised in a home that instilled a strong work ethic and developed Christian principles that guided her throughout her life and career where she dedicated herself to serving others.

As a mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and a beacon of nurturing love, Dorothy was a source of strength and joy. Her infectious laughter and charismatic personality brought light to every room. Dorothy enjoyed classic TV shows like "Days of Our Lives" & "Gilmore Girls," music, dancing, attending concerts, and spending time with her dog, Daisy.

Dorothy leaves behind a legacy of love and strength. She was a cherished mother to Sarah and Brenton Winekoff, and a proud grandmother to Hugo Winekoff. Mourning her loss are her children, Sarah and Brenton (Kassandra) Winekoff; her sister, AnnMarie Campbell; her brothers, Thomas (Mandi) Ross and Robert (Marti) Ross; nieces Shana (Alex) Miller, Cheyenne (Kevin) Smith, Aubrey, and Paityn Ross; nephews Hayden Ross, Chase (Taylor) Campbell, and Thomas Ross Jr.; grandnieces Mackenzie and Kennedy Miller; and grandnephews Truett Campbell, Jaxon, and Jason Miller. She was predeceased by her parents, Sandra Tripp and Kenneth Janice, and her brother, Kenneth Janice Jr.

Dorothy's unwavering spirit, boundless love, and the echoes of her laughter will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. She was a light in the lives of many and her memory will be cherished always.
