Evelyn "Reba" White

Evelyn Reba White died peacefully in her sleep on September 18, 2023. She was living with her daughter Linda, and son-in-law Bruce in Ann Arbor. She spent her final weeks surrounded by her loving family, including 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren!

Reba was born on January 1st, 1934, in Jefferson City Tennessee. She was very proud of her baton-twirling days at Jefferson High, and we still have the picture to prove it. In the 50’s she moved to Ann Arbor, where she met her husband, Jerry. In 1960 they had Linda and shortly thereafter they built the home in Ann Arbor where she lived the rest of her life.

Reba was a true friend and neighbor, caring for elderly neighbors and veterans. She was a volunteer with charities such as the March of Dimes. She was a devoted grandma, and spent countless hours with her grandsons, 2 great grandsons, and 2 great granddaughters. She was a generous cook and would often show up at your home with a fully prepared meal to share. Reba was a good dog mom who loved to walk her dogs with neighbors and was always willing to babysit other’s pets
