Franklin Gary Alton

Alton, Franklin Gary age 63 of Ann Arbor, Michigan died Thursday, November 13, 2014. Gary was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan on May 20, 1951 the son of Frank and Olivia Alton. He worked at Ford Motor Company in Ypsilanti for over 40 years and served as Union Rep. and Plant Chairman for Local 849. He was married to Shelley Anne Hinderer. He loved to fly fish, ride his motor cycle, and he loved the Lord. He was a great husband and father and cared deeply for his family. He was also a member of First Baptist Church of Ann Arbor for over 20 years; a funeral service will be held there on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. With Pastor Paul Simpson Duke officiating. He will be laid to rest in Bethlehem Cemetery. Gary is survived by his wife; Shelley, daughters; Renee (Chad) Grieve, Nichole and Noelle Alton, mother; Olivia Alton, grandchildren; Chad Jr. and Emily Grieve, Brothers; Michael and Ted, sister; Vivian and several nieces and nephews.
