

He was born in Lyon, France on March 5, 1928 to Stephan and Maritza Ezikian, came to the United States in January of 1947 and was married to Louise J. Ezikian (nee Avsharian) since June 22, 1957.
George served in the French underground during World War II and immigrated to the United States as a teenager after the war to start a new life. He later became a United States citizen and was responsible for bringing his parents, younger brother, sister and sister’s family to the United States. He lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania until his marriage to Louise.
George was trained as a tool and dye maker and worked in that field until his retirement from Ford Motor Company in 1988. He was also a long-time member of the United Auto Workers Union.
He is survived by his wife Louise; his children Diane (William) Reardon, Steven (Denise) Ezikian and Susan (Gary) Carlini; and his grandchildren, Ethan (Dana) Ezikian, Jaclyn (Michael) Reardon/Bussert, Taylor Ezikian, Jeffrey Reardon, Hannah Ezikian, Gabrielle Carlini, Danielle Carlini and British Ezikian; his brother Edward Ezikian; nieces Annie Townsend, Martine (Michael) Clements and Michele Kazian; and nephews Arthur Santourian and Richard (Karmen) Santourian. George was preceded in death by his parents, his sister and brother-in-law Eva and George Kazian, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Stephan and Alice Santourian and his niece Evelyne Kazian.
Visitation will be held at the Muehlig Funeral Chapel in Ann Arbor, Michigan on of Friday, May 2, 2014 beginning at 10:00 a.m. with services following at noon.
