

Morningstar, Glenn E. of Saline, MI formerly of Ann Arbor died Monday, November 3, 2014 at the Evangelical Home-Saline. He was 80 years old. Glenn was born in York, PA on January 6, 1934 the son of Millard and Pauline Morningstar. He married Margaret Kosmiski on June 8, 1963. He was a graduate of Penn State earning his BA degree in Engineering; while there he became a loyal and lifelong fan and ushered many football games. He also enjoyed ushering basketball games here at the University of Michigan. Glenn was an avid golfer and member of the Georgetown Country Club and a longtime member of Bethlehem United Church of Christ. He and his wife Margaret were able to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary this past year. He leaves behind his wife; Margaret, children; Peggy (Lee) Harmon, Joy (Joseph) Hazelton and Mike Morningstar, grandchildren; Brent Harmon, Mindy Everhart, Jason Hazelton who affectionately named Glenn “Poppy” and Jeffrey Hazelton, great-grandchildren; Patrick, Jordan, Jaron, Megan and Keira. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Donald Morningstar. Cremation has taken place and a memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2014 at Bethlehem United Church of Christ, 423 S 4th Ave, Ann Arbor, MI. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 pm. Until time of service.
