

Harvard is survived by his significant other Bonnie Elder of Brighton, Michigan and his daughters Linda Ash (Charles R. Ash) of Plymouth, Michigan and Terese Hirata (Richard Hirata) of State College, Pennsylvania as well as his daughter-in-law Mayi Lefevre of Katy, Texas; grandchildren Amy Tucker, Cari Ash, Charles Ash, Christopher Hirata, Austin Lefevre, and Santiago Lefevre and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of over fifty years, Mary Lee (Moore) Lefevre and his son, Stephen Scott Lefevre.
Harv was born on October 3, 1920 in Stephenson, Michigan. He was the son of the late Delia DesJardin and Louis Lefevre. His was a large family of 12 siblings. He graduated from high school in 1938 and joined the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). In 1939 he moved to Ann Arbor where he met his future wife Mary and found a job with King Engineering. Harv enlisted in the U.S Army Air Force in 1942. After the war, Harv and Mary (now married) returned to Ann Arbor where they settled down to raise a family.
Harv also returned to work at King Engineering. He rose through the ranks and eventually became president and chairman of the board. He was an active member of various business and professional organizations as well as his local church.
He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
The family will receive friends at the Muehlig Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 3:00 - 8:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 10:00AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Ann Arbor. Burial to follow at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery, Ann Arbor. Arrangements under the direction of Muehlig Funeral Chapel, Ann Arbor, MI.
