James Donald Moore FEBRUARY 8, 1937 - JUNE 1, 2019 James Donald Moore, age 82, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. James was born on February 8, 1937 in Van Buran, Arkansas, to Johnnie & Evelyn (Webster) Moore. He married Annie M. Foster on May 1, 1964, in Cleveland, Ohio.

He worked for Ford Motor Company, retiring after nearly 40 years in Administration. He loved his family very much and was delighted when spending time with them. He enjoyed traveling, playing golf, and helping others. He was active in church, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and as a volunteer in the community. He received numerous awards for his service and endeavors throughout his life.

James is survived by his wife Annie, children, Vincent (Joanne) Morrow, Michelle R. Moore, Stephen L. (Ville) Moore, Jason D. (Akesha) Moore; grandchildren, Thomas Prince, Jairus Moore, Asher Moore; siblings, Betty McKind, Phyllis Moore, David L. (Karin) Moore, sister-in-law Lucy (James) Robinson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.

The funeral is Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 11am at Second Baptist Church of Ann Arbor, 850 Red Oak Rd. The Family Hour precedes the service at 10am. An entombment service will follow the funeral service at Washtenong Memorial Park, 3771 Whitemore Lake Rd.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Stroke Association.
