James "Bo Jim" Walker Wimberly

James was born to Samuel and Austell Wimberly 76 years ago in Birmingham, Alabama. He attended public schools there and enrolled for two years at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. He moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan for a few years, then to San Francisco, California for 30 years where he worked as an environmental engineer testing water at San Francisco Bay. Later, Jim returned to Ann Arbor, but not before becoming an accountant. All this time, his heart kept reminding him that even though he had all these other God-given talents, acting and photography were his true passions. Jim decided at that time to retire and pursue his passions.

James's passing leaves to mourn, his son: Rashan Jeheeb, {Las Vegas), NV, daughter:Hana

Wimberly, (Telavi, Israel ) sister, Janie Wimberly, (Douglas) of Madison, WI, sister: Rose Cheryl Jones, (Ann Arbor), Grandkids: Brittany, Rasheed, Rashan, and Brea. Also, Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, cousins, and a host of others who loved him.

James' family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 403 S. 4th Ave., Ann Arbor with a Family Sharing of Memories at 11:00am at the Funeral Home.
