Janice Tucker

Tucker, Janice Allyce died, unexpectedly, Wednesday, February 2, 2011 in Ann Arbor , Michigan . Janice was born July 2, 1972, in Detroit to Marilyn and Paul Stokes, who survive her. Janice graduated from Cass Tech High School and attended Eastern Michigan University . She was employed as a Personal Banker at Chase Bank. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Ann Arbor . Janice was the beloved wife of John A. Tucker, Jr. and the devoted mother of Dominic, Gabrielle, and Isabella Tucker, all of Ann Arbor . She is also survived by her parents of Detroit and her two brothers, Robert (Nia) Stokes of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Brian Stokes of Denver , Colorado . Also surviving are John’s parents, John and Allene Tucker of Lansing and his sister Laurie (Paul) Hereza of Williamston, MI and brother, Matt Tucker of Grand Rapids . She was also loved by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Janice was predeceased by three infant children, Justin, Stephen, and Francis, as well as her grandmother, Rebecca Lawson. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Ann Arbor with interment to follow at Saint Thomas Catholic Cemetery .
