I was greatly saddened today when I learned that Dr. Segall had passed away. :( I was a patient of his since 1998. He always took well care of me and made sure I received the medical tests I needed. I was sad when I learned he was going on medical leave indefinitely and saddened deeper when receiving notice earlier this year that he was leaving his practice. I never did get to say good-bye and thank him for being such an awesome doctor and person. My condolences to all who's life he touched.

I grew up playing hockey with his son Brad. John was always fun to be around and he was a true gentleman. I spent the night at his house for many childhood sleepovers and I always felt welcome. Glad I got a chance to know him.

So sorry to hear of John's passing - he was a wonderful friend of mine during our days at Macdowell Elementary and Mumford High. We lost touch after that, but my memory of our childhood sports and antics remains strong. Condolences to his family.
