

Born in Euclid, Ohio, on January 4, 1941, Judy was the daughter of the late William M. and Lenore (Neely) Blair. She was a graduate of Villa Angela Academy, an all-girls Catholic school in Euclid, Ohio.
After graduating high school, Judy became a United Airlines Flight attendant. While working on a flight, Judy met the love of her life, Dr. Charles P. Lucas. The couple married in 1963. Their first date was the Broadway musical My Fair Lady followed by dinner at Lindy’s in New York City. Charles preceded her in death on December 15, 2019.
For many years, Judy worked as a licensed practical nurse in Gastroenterology and Dermatology. She earned her nursing degree at Washtenaw Community College.
Judy and Charles enjoyed traveling the world together, creating lasting memories with friends and family. As snowbirds, they split their time between Ann Arbor and Arizona, where they made lifelong friendships and enjoyed the vibrant social scene. Judy was known as the life of the party, often sporting festive hats and a contagious laugh that could light up any room.
Judy is survived by her children, Peter (Sue) Lucas of Ann Arbor and Lindy (Stan) Shedlowsky of White Lake; grandchildren, Mitch and Anna Shedlowsky and Thomas and Michael Lucas.
In addition to her husband, Charles and parents, Judy is preceded in death by siblings, Donna Hummer and Billy Blair.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at Muehlig Funeral Chapel and will be announced.
