I have the fondest memories of "grandma" Laura Lee.  She was married to my grandfather and was the sweetest lady.  I'm so sorry for your loss.

It's hard to express in words what Laura Lee meant to me. Her spirit touched my spirit. It felt so good to be around her; I felt loved and cherished. 
I pray that her family has been comforted with their loss as they have been in my thoughts and prayers.

The four of you made her life so joyful and happy ~ she would often tell us how she loved spending time with each of you sharing secrets and what was going on in your lives whether it was good or bad because she as your great~grandmother loved all of you uncondtionally.

Dearest Carmen and Frankie ~

We are so very sorry for the loss of your dear sweet Grams.  Having her in your lives for so many years is a true blessing.

The two of you expressed your love and devotion for her in countless ways.  She always bragged about you guys, Mick and Jina and her four adorable great-grandchildren.

All of you were the joys of her life ~ she showed her love for each and every one of you in such a special way as only a grandmother can do!

Grams beautiful red hair of course was her signature trademark! We enjoyed her company at the numerous family gatherimgs throughout the years. There was never a dull moment (thank goodness) because she livened up the  place with her funny sense of humor, big, bright smile and contagious laugh.

Grams is in heaven with Jesus, the holy angels and all of her family and friends that have gone on before her.  She will continue to live in your hearts forever and always!

We are so very sorry for the loss of your beloved Grams. You are incredibly blessed to have had her in your lives for so many years.

Whenever I was with Laura Lee, she made me laugh.  She told great stories, with a self-deprecating and sometimes sly sense of humor.  The ones I remember best were about tennis.  She told them so vividly that I could see a young, energetic red head returning lobs and racing for shots.  I loved the times that she let me drive her places, especially when my children were in the car.  I wanted them to know her and hear her stories.  She made a point of knowing them, of talking with them and asking them questions.  And if they weren't with me, she wanted to know what they were doing and how they were.  I am grateful for her legacy of energy, kindness, cheerfulness and optimism.  I miss her smile.  It was wonderful to see how happy she was in her last years, despite her challenges, loved and cared for by her family.  She hardly seems gone, her personality and influence were so bright.  I am so glad to count Laura Lee as my friend.

Laura Lee was a long time member of the Monday Club at The Salvation Army of Ann Arbor.  I had the pleasure of being the leader of this wonderful group for the past 4 years.  Laura Lee had such a great sense of humor she always kept us laughing.  She was a God fearing and beautiful woman!  Laura Lee will be greatly missed, but we know she is with our Father in Heaven and smiling down at all of us!

I first met Margie, Gary and Dave's Mom in 1954.  There was a little 5-year-old boy who moved in across the street from me with flaiming orange hair, and I soon discovered that color came from his mom.  
   Laura Lee was about as cheerily friendly as anyone I've ever met. When I last saw her on a 2006 visit back to AA I found her still to be that very same cheery lady.    
  She treated Dave and I to a double-dip ice cream cone at the Washtenaw Dairy that day, and it made me feel like it was the good old days, again.  I will always keep fond memories of the lady with part of her name coming from Robert E.Lee's Mansion in Arlington, Va, where she was born. My deepest symathies to her family.

Many thanks to everyone who has written such nice thoughts about our mother, grandmother, aunt, etc so far. They are sweet & much appreciated!

I can never recall seeing Laura Lee without a beautiful smile on her face.  She had a way of making you feel like younwerenthe most important person in the world to her.  She will be missed so much.

I will miss Laura Lee. She had spark and spunk and lifted me whenever I went to her home to visit teach.  I was touched when she would ask me about my life and my family, and she had such a good memory!  It meant a lot when she would give me a call to see how I was doing.  Her unconditional love and compassion touched my life and the lives of hundreds over her 92 years. How her family and friends adored her.  We will never forgot our Laura Lee.

Laura Lee had a joy to be around.  She had a wonderful sense of humor which always brought a smile.

Laura Lee's energy and love of life are such a wonderful blessing to me and Brad. What an incredible person! I appreciate the joy she brought to me and everyone she touched.

We were so sorry to hear of Lauralee's passing. She was a delightful woman with a great sense of humor and a sparkle in her eyes. She loved her family deeply and never a visit went by without a mention of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her spunk and love of life and family will always be foremost in our memories of her.

I appreciated 2 years ago when we last visited that Grams with Dave took Kaitlin and I to ChuckeCheese for her 3rd birthday and she even had Chucky bring her out a cake, it was wonderful.  It was so enjoyable to have that time with her.  We will miss her.  I think of her often especially her cards that she sent and our last phone conversations.  Laura and Kaitlin

I share a middle name with my Aunt Laura Lee and also her unfailing sense of humor.  She always made me feel special whenever we visited or talked on the phone.  I'll miss her sweet smile and positive attitude.  Thanks for all the happy times and memories, Aunt Laura Lee.

I remember spending many Thanksgiving dinners in Ann Arbor, playing touch football with my cousins Margie, Dave and Gary. Our last visit (with my wife Marcia) was a few years ago for Carmen's wedding.  A very joyful time.

I'm sure that you are united with my father Tom and sisters Mollie and Ginny.  Thank you for all the loving memories.

I enjoyed working with Laura Lee at the Main Post Office in Ann Arbor.  We worked side by side in the Personnel Office.  She was very kind and loving lady.

Mom, there has nobody like you.  Always cheerful and happily wanting to help others, never an unkind word, unwaveringly devoted to family and friends.  I know you are at the specially chosen right hand of God; you always gave everything and more to the "least of these".  Thanks for for the wonderful daily chats and long kisses over the phone. Back when Laura Lee lived in Lurie Terrace, we used to ride home together after meetings in Chelsea.  I enjoyed her company -- she made me laugh.  She and Wynette were my faithful visiting teachers.  My sympathy goes out to Marj, Dave, Gary and all of her family.

We were Visiting Teaching Companions. I will miss her cheerful attitude and wonderful sense of humor. She always made time for us when we came to Michigan to visit. Our love and sympathy goes to her family. She surely will be missed.
