Reunited with his beloved mother, Jennifer (2018). Adored son of Eric and Rachel. Best little brother to Liam, Eden and Avalon. Cherished grandson to Rudy and Marisa Leitzinger and Ab and Karen Kadour. Loved nephew of Heidi, Linda, Anne and Patty and cousin to Kayla, Hayley, Conner, Madison, Cord and Valley. Lennon will also be dearly missed by his favourite good boy, Teddy, as well as by many other good friends and family.
In order to know Lennon, you would have to know just how deep his love ran for his family and the people he cared for. He drew his happiness and contentment simply from being with the ones he loved. It could be enjoying a movie night together or sitting around the bonfire. His love was demonstrated through his ever-present sweetness, compassion and empathy towards others. Lennon had a special tenderness for those who may have been considered outsiders, always drawing them in by offering acceptance, kindness and friendship.
From a very young age, Lennon deeply immersed himself into whatever hobby or interest he had at any given time. So much so that he could rattle off obscure facts and interesting tidbits that always left people amazed. His interests throughout the years varied but what stayed consistent was his love for art, creativity and self-expression. His love for all things retro displayed what an old soul we knew him to be. The time he invested in watching and studying classic movies and learning about film production ultimately led him to discover his life’s ambition which was to be a film director. He was always recording and editing interesting and unique short films or hilarious skits with his siblings and cousins which he loved to share with his family.
Another deep love of Lennon’s were holidays, in particular, Halloween and Christmas. He often started planning and getting excited for these holidays, months in advance. His early excitement for these holidays was the catalyst for the rest of the family’s festive spirit. He loved any excuse to be festive and celebratory, whether it was baking, decorating, listening to the music or watching the movies of the season. He greatly enjoyed the time spent buying the materials and props for making his own Halloween costumes which were always as unique and interesting as his personality.
No remembrance of Lennon would be complete without mention of his dog, Teddy. Boy did he love this dog! From the moment Teddy was adopted, he and Lennon formed a special bond. Lennon spent most of his free time with Teddy playing, dressing him up in human clothes, filming cute videos of him and taking him for walks. They were indeed “twins” as they were often referred to by mom and dad. Their closeness will forever hold a place in the hearts of those who saw the true love between a boy and his dog.
The world would be a better place if people were as loving, kind and accepting as Lennon. The greatest way to honor Lennon’s memory is to carry out these virtues, as he himself, had lived them.
A Funeral will be held Friday June 27th, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Christ The King Catholic Church, located at 4000 Ave Maria Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
