Peggy and I met when we were both 11 years old. She was friendly, confident, energetic, and had the sort of sense of humor I liked. She gave me lots of (needed) advice on the social mysteries (to me) of junior high school. Although decades have passed since I last saw Peggy, I still regard her as a very influential person in my life.

Peggy had just a sweet spirit about her. How I looked forward to our conversations about high school football, and Michigan basketball, as she passed by my desk every night on her way out. Might the family know, that a small portion of the world paused for a moment as we all learned of her passing. Peggy my friend, you will be missed.

I worked with Peggy at the U.S. EPA's office in Ann Arbor. She was always a source of good conversation and insight. Peggy and I shared our own histories, having both gone through divorces, and were able to support each other that way. Her stories of her experience as a journalist before coming to EPA were fascinating, and I think she came to understand how important information is as a result. That's what made her so good at what she did at EPA.

I'm truly saddened to learn of Peggy's death, and will certainly be including her and her family in my prayers. My heart goes out to you all!

I sat directly across from Peggy. She was a devoted Mother. She loved her son, family and her church.

Peggy, I think you were right about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. It looks like they're having twins. :-)

Hi! I only knew Peggy for a short time but always had very interesting conversations in regards to her education at MIT, her knitting, her life and one always knew when Peggy was laughing :-)! She sat just a few spaces down from me at work and she will be missed. It just goes to show to enjoy life every day as much as you can. Make it meaningful for you never know when your time on this life to give to others will be over.
