Jones, Marguerite L. "Peggy" 9/13/1939 - 7/7/2015 Ann Arbor, MI Marguerite L. "Peggy" (Langenbahn) Jones, 75, of Ann Arbor, MI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 7th, 2015. Peggy was born in Detroit, MI to William and Marguerite Langenbahn and later moved to Pinconning where she grew up with 3 siblings-- sisters Phyllis and Gretchen and her brother, Bill. There she graduated from St. Michael's High School in 1957 and moved later that year to Ann Arbor to attend the University of Michigan. In 1964, she met B. Todd Jones and they married on December 30th, 1966. Peggy worked at the Chamber of Commerce of Ann Arbor and the Population Studies Center of the University of Michigan. Known for her wit and commitment to the community, she was active in civic life through the Burns Park community, PTA, and Law Wives of Ann Arbor and was involved in local politics as Campaign Manager for Melinda Morris. Peggy was an admired cook and voracious reader. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents and younger sister Phyllis. She is survived by her husband B. Todd Jones, her daughter Jessyca Poole, grandchildren Zoe and Owen of Seattle, WA, her sister, Gretchen Hamann of Cleveland, OH, and brother, Bill Langenbahn of Boerne, TX, and a host of nieces and nephews who love her dearly. The memorial service will be held at Muehlig Funeral Home in Ann Arbor on Sunday July 19th at 3pm. Calling hours will begin at 2:30pm.
