Marion A. Huston

Marion A. Huston, age 90, of Ann Arbor , passed away October 25, 2010 at Saline Evangelical Home. Marion was born March 11, 1920 in Bad Axe, Michigan . Marion was the daughter of Albert and Anna Hass. On November 27, 1944 she married Robert M. Huston who preceded her in death in 1981. Marion graduated from Bad Axe High School in 1935 and Alma College in 1941. She taught school in Alma , MI , and Yale , MI , before marrying and moving to Ann Arbor . Marion is survived by her three children: Barbara (Brian) Brockie of Jackson, John (Maureen) Huston of Tecumseh, Peter (Linda) Huston of Howell, and one sister, Norma Collon of Bad Axe; two nephews: Thomas Collon of Bad Axe and William Collon of Rochester Hills; and ten grandchildren: Mike (Debbie) Brockie, Laura (Tony Spink), Karen Brockie, all of Jackson, Natalie Huston of Clinton, Robert Huston of Detroit, Anthony Huston of Grand Rapids, Erica Huston of Tecumseh, and Nicholas Huston, Eric Huston and Abby Huston of Howell. Marion is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren. The family would like to express their most sincere gratitude to the staff of Brookhaven Manor, Innovations Home Care, Saline Evangelical Home, and Arbor Hospice for their tireless support during Marion ’s final days. Donations in Marion ’s memory may be made to Arbor Hospice. A celebration of Marion ’s life will be held at the Weber’s Inn Atrium Room on Friday, October 29 from 4:00 until 8:00 P. M.
