Mary Jacqueline Scott

Mary Jacqueline Scott, “Jackie”, as her friends and family called her, was born on December 14, 1958 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to George Shepherd and Mary Bremby, who preceded her in death. Jackie departed her friends and family unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 23, 2012. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Warnsley. Jackie was a long-time and valuable employee of AT&T and worked in numerous departments and locations throughout Michigan. Jackie enjoyed outings with friends and family. She loved traveling, football, arts and crafts, going on cruises, attending social events, dining out, gardening, and enjoyed casinos atmosphere. Jackie was “One of a Kind”. She possessed a big heart and would assist anyone in need. More than anything, Jackie, loved spending time with her family and reminiscing. Although, Jackie did not have any biological children, she was still a mother and grandmother. Her nieces and nephews thought of her as a second mom. Just recently, Jackie had become a great-grandmother. Her puppy-dog, Princeton was her “Pride and Joy”. Jackie will truly be missed by all who knew her. Jackie leaves to cherish her memory one daughter; Sonya Scott, two sisters; Hope Gilispie and Georgia Shepherd (Rickey), three brothers; Scott Shepherd, Richard Bremby and Randy Bremby (Robin), six nieces; Toni White, Kashell Reed, Cynthia Cargill, Stephanie Brown, Anteneah Bremby and Ariah Bremby, two nephews; Lindell Shepherd and Nicholas Bremby, very special grand-nieces and grand-nephews, a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins, long-time friend; Alvin Walton; beloved puppy-dog, Princeton, and her friends and extended work family.

The Funeral Service and Celebration of Life for Mary “Jackie” Scott, will be held at Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 403 S. Fourth Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48104 on Thursday, November 1, 2012. Viewing will be at 11:00 a.m. and the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m.
