I just learned of Mike's passing, in a U of W engineering magazine. I thought of you two recently, and wondered how you were doing. I am sorry about Mike. I remember coaching a Little League team in Laramie one summer with Mike. Even back then he showed his concern for others. I remember an argument we had once at work in the design squad on the north side of the Engineering Building. We were discussing who would be remembered for their music. I said "the Beatles", and he said "Aaron Copeland". I didn't even know who Copeland was! Now, maybe we could agree that we were both right. Best wishes from Fairfield. I am sorry for your loss.

A shock to be at ST Mary's Cathedral in Cheyenne and see a notice Mike's death in the bulletin. He was a fun member of CYO..........ever so long ago. His mom was an amazing lady!

I believe I was around ten years old when the Rohde family met mine at Domino's Farms. Over the years, we have enjoyed so many wonderful moments together. Their family has become a second family to me. In difficult moments in my life, I slept over on their couch, always welcome. I remember Mr. Rohde as always kind, always polite, and sincere. I will always remember him with fondness. What a wonderful family and father; he will be truly missed.

Mike was a part of our Holiday's many times during the past several years. He and his daughter Anne would join us in celebration of family. There will be an empty seat at our table, for many years to come. We will miss meeting with Mike, sharing stories and laughter.

Mike was a colleague of mine at Real Estate One. I have been trying to think of the word to best describe him. I came up with honest, forthright, helpful and finally decided that maybe the best words to describe Mike is that he was a man of principals and integrity. He was also a kind person and always willing to answer a question that I might have and answer it two fold. Our loss is but heaven's gain. God Bless you Michael Rohde.

The funeral for Mike today was beautiful and moving. I enjoyed my years working with Mike at Domino's Farms and always appreciated his professionalism and positive approach to everything. He was one of those people who put a smile on your face when you saw him coming down the hall or wherever you ran into him. Most of all, his love of God, the Church and his family was self evident.

As Fr. Bill so beautifully sang at the final prayers, "May the angels welcome (him) to paradise....' Deacon Dan Foley

Mike was a very nice, kind, gentle and generous man who always put other peoples interests in front of his own. His positive influence reached quite far. We are blessed and are better people for having known him. Rest in peace, and all the best to the family.

I was shocked to re4ad of the death of Mike Rhode in this morning's news paper. Mike and wife Teri were so kind and supportive to me in years past. I am so sad. May the angels lead you into paradise, Mike, and may your wife, Teri, and your extended family find solace and peace in Christ.Rest in Peace. Gene and Joan McKay
