Sarah Hansen, 104, passed away peacefully at Saline Evangelical Home with her family by her side on August 7, 2012. Sarah is preceded in death by her husband Frank Hansen, son Gerald Hansen, daughter JoAnn (Hansen) Kennedy, daughter Donna (Hansen) LaRoe, and great-grandson Derek Lund. Sarah was an avid Detroit Tigers Baseball fan. She would never miss a game and especially loved listening to them on the radio. Sarah is survived by her son Ronald (Cindy) Hansen, son-in-law Jim Kennedy, daughter-in-law Bonnie Hansen, 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter. A special thank you to Saline Evangelical Home for their compassionate staff, and especially Sarah’s caregiver and friend, Sharon. Services will be held at Muehlig Funeral Chapel on Monday August 13, 2012 at eleven o’clock in the morning with an hour of visitation prior to the services.
