Scott grew up in Ann Arbor and graduated from Pioneer High School. He had a long career as a machine operator at Edwards Brothers Malloy, where he worked until his retirement.
Scott was a longtime member of the Washtenaw Sportsman's Club where he enjoyed the camaraderie and time spent there. He had many cats throughout the years for whom he had a special love.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Eberth and his mother, Marian Eberth; his grandparents, Cora and Herman Janousky; his aunt and uncle, Beatrice and Louis Jeffreys. He was especially close to his aunt Bea .
Scott is survived by Cheri Reid, his longtime partner in life, who will cherish his memory.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
Muehlig Funeral Chapel is honored to oversee Scott’s cremation arrangements. His ashes will be interred at Bethlehem Cemetery in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
