Age 94, passed away October 17, 2014 at home. She was born September 4, 1920, the daughter of Joseph and Leila (Klatt) Bock. On September 9, 1938 she married the love of her life, Frank Riggs they were married 69 years before he preceded her in death in 2008. She is survived by her children: Joe (Sue) Riggs, Karen (Dick) Mort, Trudy (Bill) Bell, 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Shirley worked hard on the family farm, and later at Parke Davis. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Saline, where a memorial service is planned for Monday, October 27, 2014 at 11:00, with Dr. James E. Tuttle officiating. There will be visitation from 10:00 until time of service. Envelopes will be available for Brecon Village and the Methodist Church.
