Willis, Susan Marie of Ann Arbor, Michigan crossed over the Rainbow Bridge to many happy wagging tails and puppy kisses. Susan was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan the daughter of Creel and Vera Conover. She was a graduate of Pioneer High School class of 1966. Susan was a former board member of HARC of Washtenaw County and ABWA. She was head of customer service at Gelman Sciences Corp. for many years. She was also a real estate agent and worked with the Home Builders Association in the Ann Arbor area for many years. She married her friend and beloved companion William Willis on April 13, 1996; she will forever remain in his heart.
Susan loved her family and animals, enjoyed traveling and fishing; Key West, Florida was one of her fondest destinations.
Susan is survived by her loving husband, William; children, Bill Willis and Chris (Jammie) Willis; grandchildren, Blair, Lexi and Reia Willis, and Andrew and Hunter Willis. Her parents and her brother Jeff Conover preceded her in death. Susan's family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the many friends and caregivers who gave their support during her illness. Caregivers who called, or traveled many miles to give her support, hold her hand, or play her favorite music. Especially, Gayann, Suzanne, Stephanie, Christine, Jane, Diana, Kathy, Helen, Georgia, Rhonda, and Tim. In addition, a special thank you to Dr. Jerome Winegarden who treated her with care and respect these last five years.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 2-4 pm at the GreenBrier Club House located at the GreenBrier Apartments (3615 Green Brier Blvd. Ann Arbor, MI 48104).
