It has been a year since Theresa passed. We will always think of her lovingly, of the care she helped give our young sons, and how fun and lively she was!

Theresa remains in our hearts and prayers.  She was such a loving soul and made a lasting impression on my 7 year old son at Logan's aftercare program.  We had sent a donation to the Delonis Center last year in her honor and, with her giving spirit living on in those she touched, my son has asked to make  his own donation again this year...dedicated again in her honor and memory.

Me and my girls are missing Theresa - she really had a gift for connecting with children.

Our thoughts and prayers are still with you and your family.  Although it may seem like the 'world' has returned to normal, please know that Theresa and her bright smile are missed on a daily basis and she has not been forgotten.

We were very sorry to hear the news about Theresa. We've known Theresa for 10 years at Haisley Childcare. She took such good care of our daughter and son in the Aftercare Program. We were very sadden to learn about Theresa.  In our early years at Gretchen's House, we always looked forward to Theresa's warm smile and encouraging words about our kids.  She loved our kids like they were her own.  She was a very genuine person and will be sorely missed by those whose lives she touch.  RIP Theresa!


As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by God, also by the words in the Bible at Philemon 4-7 along with the support and love of your family and friends.

Theresa's lovely smile greeted me every afternoon when I walked into the child care room at Wines. She always complimented the art work on display and was interested in how the students created the pieces. The children under her supervision were fortunate to have such a thoughtful  caregiver. Shocked to hear wonderful, sweet Theresa has passed on!  I wish we had heard earlier.  We would of wanted to have attended her funeral services.  Theresa touched Ian, MacKinzie, Doug and Connie's life with her warm, caring, and loving, heart.  Theresa was truley, an all round great, person that we should try to be like in her memory. Theresa was a bright spot in our mornings for over 7 years while at Abbot morning care.  She was great with the kids and everyone loved her.  She was a blessing to our family and will be missed.

I was so saddened to hear of Theresa's passing. The pain you all must feel at this time I'm sure is unbearable. Aunt Phyllis I love you and only time will heal your soul....keep your loved ones near! Theresa May you now rest in peace, but know you will be forever missed and never forgotten!

Ron, Megan and I will always hold dear that Theresa's smile, laughter, caring and compassion were such an important part of Meg's childhood.  We are so grateful to Theresa for helping Megan grow into the woman she is today.  We will miss you, and thank you for being there for us so many times.

Everyday when I went to Logan aftercare, I was greeted with Theresa and warm praise of how my child Michael was doing that day. She was always smiling, encouraging and really light up the day. I was shocked to hear the news. My thoughts and prayers go with her family and friends. RIP, Theresa. You will always be remembered!

Theresa came every day with a smiling face to pick up my Kindergartners for after care. I always enjoyed talking to her and laughing with her. The kids miss her so much.  She will truly be missed. She was such a wonderful inspiration for kids.

You will be missed in the neighborhood, nobody could rally the troops to get stuff done like you.  Your spirit moves on but your memory will always be with those of us you took the time to talk with and help.

Theresa was an amazing woman full of pure kindness and I will miss her energetic spirit at Logan. She was incredibly encouraging as I pursue a degree in education and her confidence in me meant so much. My heart goes out to her family at this time, the world is a better place because she was in it and she will surely be missed.

To the family and friends of Theresa... our family shares your sorrow and will miss her tremendously.  Kiran truly enjoyed spending his afternoons in her care at Logan. I did not have the opportunity to meet Theresa until this year but from what I know she was an awesome person who stopped at nothing to make sure the kids had a great time in Childcare. She always made others feel good and put others in front of herself. She loved the kids like they were her own. I am saddened by her loss and Childcare will not the be same without. My thoughts and prayers are with her family an friends.

My husband Larry and I and our daughter Carly were fiends with Theresa through our neighbor, Janet Carlson. We all shared some fun times and good laughs hanging out at the Carlson's etc... We are so saddened by this loss and will miss Theresa.  We wish her soul peace and contentment, and send our condolances to her family and close friends.

I am so sorry for your/our loss. I worked closely with Theresa all last year. Her unconditional love that she shared with all she knew, even those she didn't, was truly inspiring. Never forget that. Let it shine. It was a lesson for all.

The Klein family will miss Theresa.  She was kind to our daughters at school and a lovely neighbor.  Fred, Victoria, Sophia and Nina.

I'm so saddened to hear this news - Theresa was a familiar face at Haisley for many years and will be missed!  She was so easy to talk to, and took such good care with making sure my students made it to childcare after school.  She had a huge impact on so many lives!

Theresa was kind to both of my young daughters at school.  She was our also a neighborhood friend who never missed an opportunity to stop and say, "Hi" and chat with us when we'd see her.  We were always happy to see her when the weather broke and walking our dogs.  We will miss her sunny disposition.  Rest in peace, Theresa.  You are missed.

I met Theresa at Haisley my first year there and she was such a bright presence.  She was adored by kids and was an absolute natural with children.  My daughter began the young 5s program at Abbot and I ran into Theresa there.  She made
it a point to meet my daughter , look at her at eye level and make her feel special in a very big place.  I will always remember that.

Words cannot even begin to express our shock and sadness at this sudden loss.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.  May you find comfort in the memories that you hold dear in your hearts, and in knowing that she brought warmth and love into all the lives that she touched. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to know her, and for the many gifts she shared with our son during their time together at Logan.  We light this candle here in remembrance and celebration of her passion for life and know that her light will shine on in many hearts.

Ms. Theresa was a beloved caregiver to my sons for a combined nine years.  She was loved and respected by them, and became an important part of their lives.  They always described her as "fun, but fair."  She was both of those things, and so much more.  I especially admired her courageous advocacy for children, her deep understanding of child development, and her limitless patience and love.  She will be very missed by the Partridge Family  (Karen, James, Nicholas and Noah)

My daughter attended a Young 5's program where she didn't know a soul going in.  Theresa took her under her wing and made her feel welcomed and loved.  The first thing my daughter did was run up and give her a big hug each morning.  This started her school day off right!  She'd come home saying Ms. Theresa let me have a waffle and play in the gym today.  It was the end of her day, but she always remembered the beginning.  I'll always appreciate Theresa's bubbly and friendly nature and love for kids.  She has touched so many people!

Theresa had a gift with children.  Both of my boys felt loved and appreciated whenever they were around her. She was a very special person.

Theresa was not only a good friend and coworker, she was like my sister. She shared her warm spirit and helped make our Child Care program special. She came with the energy we needed to start our day just right. She cared for the children like they were her own. Theresa helped care for me and my family as well. She sent gifts to share with my babies for Christmas and birthdays or for no good reason. Theresa would talk about the good times she had with friends and family and often invited me to spend time with her.  My thoughts and prayers are with you. She will be missed deeply.

Such a sad loss for everyone who knew her. Having travelled many miles with her I know there was never a more caring soul. Theresa will always be in my heart.  She and I grew up together in the neighborhood, and as teenagers, we shared our angst of love and life with each other.  Her mother and I became friends because of all the times I would stop by to see Theresa, doing all that I could do to win her heart.  Even Gramps, who's house was across the back yard, would razz me for getting up and chasing Theresa whenever I saw her walking by while visiting him at his house - it was well known by all the neighborhood families that I was in love with Theresa.  While she may be gone, she will forever be the love of my youth.

Ms. Theresa loved my daughters so much and was so dear to them everyday.  I never worried when dropping my children off so early in the morning at school because I knew Ms. Theresa was there to take care of them.  She cared so much for my whole family.  I was met with hugs when I needed it and she just truly cared for myself, my husband, and my children.  She would always tell me that the kids she took care of in the schools were her children.  My entire family will miss her so much and want her family to know how much she was loved.   I will never forget her or what she has done for my family.

I only knew Theresa as a neighbor but she was always so upbeat, warm and helpful; it was always a pleasure to run into her for a quick chat.  She will be missed.  My sympathy to all of her family and friends.
