Amelia, 
This morning as I sat holding my cat, petting the dog and looking out at the steady falling rain, I sat reflecting on Amelia and my gratitude for all that she offered.

I have never met Amelia for any length of time, massage board meetings in person or Zoom and Facebook posts, that is the extent of it. 
Dazzled, she had kept me at how quickly she had updates and new information regarding our Massage profession relaid to us. 
Amelia presented the example for all to follow, compassion and patience, as she answered some very unique questions over the years. 
Amelia was tenacious in advocating for our Massage field, countless have benefited from her work, we shall be eternally grateful.



I was stunned and sadden learning of Amy's passing. I know She was very adamit about not calling this a fight against cancer, but trying to live with it and enjoy every moment of Her life. Her talents and expertise in humanity goes unparrell to anyone I know. Amy achieved Her Massage Wellness Label in the Maryland Government of Licensed Businesses. She fought hard and strong to make that distinction from parlors to Massage Wellness. 

Antiques were her passion back in the 1990s. We had many fun New Years's Day Auctions at Braswell Galleries of Norwalk, CT. We worked hard and enjoyed all the treaures and interesting shoppers. Once the IRS came to inspect The Head of Medusa! 

We had great times chilling on Fairfield Beach with her beloved Brother, John P. Toombs.  Amy loved her dogs, Pipper and Kona. Pipper loved catching the ball in the surf, we could toss a penny into the water, and sure enough, Pipper retrieved the exact penny. We all would be so astonished, the love Pipper had for Amy, to make her proud with fetching that penny was remarkable.  

Although its been 24 years without physically visiting with Amy, Facebook brought us together. I do not know how we found each other, but I was thrilled to find my Great Friend, Amy.  

My admiration and respect for Amy is like no other. Rest In Peace My Dear Friend. God Bless!
