The entire Ward family was saddened to hear of Ann’s passing. She has been taking care of all our mouths starting with me (since I was very young child). I always looked forward to sitting in her chair and “catching up”! Her voice was always calm, her touch gentle! Miss her!

What a gem...so vibrant, so precious, and possessed a rare gift to make so many people feel happy when in her presence. (Even if you were in “ her chair”). Thank you Ann. You are an unforgettable class act.

Ann became an instant friend to me when we first met at Dr. Leocha’s office back in 1969. We worked together for almost 20 years. There has never been a kinder, gentler or better friend in my life. We shared so many traits and used to say the only difference between us was that she liked mustard and I liked mayo. She was my trusted confidant and I will always cherish those years with her. I know that she is with those people she loved so dearly who passed before her. Rest In Peace, I love you.

I was blessed to know Ann for 40+ years as her patient and her friend. She and Dr Shevenell were my first good experiences at the dentist. They made a trip to the dentist enjoyable. We miss her and are sad her light has gone out so soon.
Our deepest condolences to her husband, John, and family.

The Annapolis High School Class of 1960 was saddened to learn of Anna’s passing. We all called her Anna in school, I don’t think we knew her first name was Ann. She was a sweet girl with a great personality and will be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time.

Ann was our dental hygienist for forty years - the entire time we lived in Annapolis. When our children were very young and started going to the dentist, they lovingly called her, “Aunt Hayes.” Ann was professional in every way, and she was a friendly face and a comfort at the dental office. My husband and I both thought so highly of Ann. We are saddened by her death and extend our condolences to her husband and family. We have all lost a very dear friend.

My high school classmate who took care of my teeth, and indeed the dental needs of my family and all of my brothers for decades. At those twice a year or more often visits, we would talk about travel, and share gossip. I used to look forward to visiting the dentist!! I am very sad.

We are so very very sorry to learn of Ann’s death. She was our hygienist for 40+ years. When our son was born and old enough for a dental exam we saw Mrs Hayes. She was my sister’s hygienist and the only one my son knew til he married and moved away She was always very pleasant and we would always share stories about our families. She brought a smile and sunshine into your day. John, you have our very deepest sympathy in your lost. Jean and Joe Caldwell

I am so sorry to hear of Ann's passing. I am a very long time patient of Ann's. We spent many happy times together going to concerts at the Naval Academy and dinners at Lombardi's in Ocean City. I've missed her kindness, the many stories we shared of old times and friends in Annapolis and her beautiful smile. She always had a way of making you feel most comfortable and like you were her best friend. I send my sincerest condolences to John and all of her family especially her niece, Karen, who takes great care of me in the dental chair. God bless you all. You are in my thoughts during this sorrowful time. Janis Kramer

I was a patient of Ann's from the time I was very small until she left West Annapolis Family Dentistry, so 55+ years. In those years, she became such a good friend and we could talk about anything and everything while she kept my teeth in perfect shape. I always looked forward to catching up with her. Of course, I sent my kids and my husband to her also because there was nobody else like her.
Sending my condolences to all her family, Susan D. Taylor

Ann was a most generous women and never met a person she did not like. We loved having Ann in our lives for the past 25 years and will miss her greatly. The beach will not be the same without her outstanding personality and many stories (mostly about John). There are truly no words to express how sad we all are and hope that her spirit is finally resting in peace. We miss her already!
