Brent’s bday in Sept 2025 at our house in Annapolis with Tom’s now wife Atalya, son Jim and son Tom and Sammy. Hard to believe it’s been one month since we lost Brent. 💔🩵💕💙  Brent looks so happy here and that’s how we’ll always remember him. 💯

My deepest condolences to Brent's family and friends. Brent and I were in the same platoon in the US Army, stationed in Panama. I remember him as a diligent, hard working crew chief with a great sense of humor.  We lost touch after I transferred to a new unit, and reconnected 10 or years ago via social media.

So sorry and shocked to learn about Brent’s passing. I served as Brent’s Battalion Commander in Panama during Operation Just Cause, December 1989!! I was the Commander, 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation. Brent was assigned to A Company “Talons” and served as a crew chief for our “Cinc Hawk” who supported the Commander in Chief, US Southern Command, General Maxwell Thurman! I had the opportunity to fly with Brent on occasion and was always impressed by his attitude and professionalism! Lifting the entire family in our prayers!

Brent brought Sammy home in May 2017 💙

A graduate of the University of Maryland and Embry Riddle University, he served his country in the U. S. Army as a helicopter crew chief helping to depose a dictator in Panama as part of Operation  Just Cause and as a helicopter pilot in Korea, rising to the rank of Captain.  In civilian life he worked in the.medical field supporting the work of doctors and health care facilities.  He was liked and admirrd  by everyone who
met him and helped to make this world a better place.  But he will best be remembered as a devoted son and father who made his family proud and happy.  He will be greatly missed by family for his unlimited spirit of love, hospitality and generosity.  Our tragic loss is Heaven's gain.  I was always proud to call him son.

I didn’t know Brent well, personally, but I do know he was a loving, caring and supportive partner to my dear friend, Robin.  He was cherished by his mother, close friends with his grown sons, and adored by his dogs. All of that says a great deal about a man and his success in life. 

Wishing all of Brent’s loved ones and good friends the comfort of  many happy memories.

I met Brent at several work holiday parties over the years, and what stood out was how easily he connected with people.  He had a natural way of stepping into conversations and making others feel included.  It was also clear how much Robin meant to him and how strong their partnership was.

I’ve since learned Brent was a sailor at heart, and I’ll think of him when I see a sailboat on the Chesapeake.  My heartfelt condolences to Robin, Tom, Jim, and all who loved him.

Year after Year, he was always there to support Flying Marshmallows…and we are truly going to miss him!

So lucky to have spent a special week on the Vineyard with Brent and Robin.   Brent loved his Goldens!

We loved spending time with Brent when he was on Nantucket .   We will cherish these fond memories .

Brent  was a neighbor and friend. His passing has left a void and he will be sorely missed.  Brent's positivity warmed a room and the people in attendance. His love for his family was tangible. I will remember his wonderful stories and laughter- whether poolside, out to eat, or at a neighborhood gathering. May you be at peace as you walk among the Angels.

The senior living community here, in Anne Arundel County has lost a compassionate advocate, friend and supporter.  I knew Brent professionally, first at Bay Village where he was a dynamo and full of energy.  He was eager to succeed and always had a smile for our Chessie Senior Movers team.  Later, at Spring Arbor in Severna Park, our professional friendship continued and his determination to always do his best shone through in every interaction we had with him.  As recently as 2 weeks ago, a family we are moving into Spring Arbor was singing his praises as being kind, caring and a bright light in her search for a safe home for her family members.  Brent, your laughter and your wit will truly be missed.  Your loss is devastating to many.

Brent was my pledge brother at Delta Sigma Phi at the University of Maryland in the Spring of 1988.  He always had a smile on his face and his laugh always made everyone around him laugh too. I'll miss you brother!

Brent was a wonderful member of our community.  We are so sorry to know  he won’t be walking along Wesley Avenue with Blue or Sammy  this coming  season. Robin and Barbara and Joe and all who knew and loved him, we grieve the too early exit of this vibrant man.

Dear Family, 
Even I never got to know Brent personally, I lost a brother as well since Kirk is my best friend and is my Brother. 

Me and my family feel deeply the loss and sorrow you have right now and wish you all the power and confidence you will need in the following days. 

May Brent be at a better place now without harm, pain. He knows that his love one's will miss him sadly.

I am shocked and so sad to hear about Brent's passing. I am  work colleague and friend. I laughed with him when he had the new puppy with him at work. Sometimes he cooperated and sometimes he did not. He spoke so highly of his family. 
He was so dedicated. happy and proud of what he accomplishef in growing the community he worked in. He was a nice guy who will be missed by me and I am sure by many. My condolences to his family.
