

Born in Greenville, West Virginia, in 1937, Carlos graduated from West Virginia University and cheered for his beloved Mountaineers. After graduating, he packed his VW Beetle and moved to Annapolis, Maryland, to begin his career in education. He taught science before becoming a guidance counselor.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sandy. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer, and her husband, Brandon, and their children, Steven and Emily. He is also survived by his brother Russell and his sister Carol.
Carlos enjoyed his garden, golf, hunting, and fishing. And most of all, he enjoyed his family.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street Annapolis, Maryland 21401 on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Memorial Service will be held at Calvary United Methodist Church, 301 Rowe Blvd Annapolis, MD 21401 on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 11 am.
