C. Anne Whitelock, 89, died peacefully on January 27, 2016 at Anne Arundel Medical Center following a stroke. She was born on February 27, 1926 in Baltimore, Maryland. Graduated from St. Bernadine's and went to Peabody to study under Lubov for piano. She married Hennie Whitelock in 1949 and moved to Texas. In Texas, she started her fashion career. She modeled in the Houston Chronicle from 1951-1954 for Ben Wolfman. Later, she was employed by Neiman Marcus as an international buyer. She moved back to Maryland in 1980 to be closer to family. For the last several years, she was a resident at Genesis Spa Creek Center, Annapolis, Maryland. She is preceded in death by her parents Leo and Edith Wiley and brother, Eugene Wiley and sisters, Jane Hamilton and Mary Combs. She left behind many nieces, nephews, and their children. A Memorial Mass will be held Monday February 8, 2016 at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church 1070 Cecil Avenue, Millersville, MD 21108.
